All of us here at Live Picture Studios are so proud to announce that our founder/CEO, Khoa Le, has been selected as one of The Knot Pro Ambassadors for 2018! It truly is quite an honor as The Knot has been a trusted resource for millions of couples planning their weddings over the last twenty years, not to mention venues and vendors like us!
The Knot Pro Network has been providing industry insights and expert advice to their community of wedding professionals for a long time, but now they’re asking other wedding pros to help and, honestly, it only makes sense. After all, as wedding pros we live and breathe this stuff every single day.
So, they launched The Knot Ambassador Program, reaching out to 25 wedding pros from across the country representing an array of categories like venues, photography, videography, florists, etc. The criteria? A unique point of view, an enthusiasm for the industry, a strong presence in the pro community, and best practices to share.
All of us here at LPS are so proud to announce that our founder and CEO, Khoa Le, has been featured in the “Ask an Expert” column of the 2018 Spring/Summer issue of The Knot New Jersey Magazine! The holiday season is well underway and it’s become pretty clear that it’s going to be tumultuous one, what with the recent election and the overall sense of global unease that seems to have come with it.
It’s even gotten a lot of people talking revolution, and that’s perfectly understandable. So, with that in mind and the spirit of giving that accompanies every holiday season in the air, we thought we’d start a revolution of our own: #TheGiveRevolution.
Each year the people over at The Knot, the nation’s largest wedding planning resource for news and inspiration, throw a big bash to cap off Bridal Fashion Week in New York, and this year, Live Picture Studios’ founder Khoa Le attended the party!
Live Picture Studios is proud to announce that Walt Before Mickey, the first feature film from our sister creative production company KVibe Productions and directed by our founder Khoa Le, was released on iTunes today and is available for pre-order on Amazon.
If you didn’t get a chance to see it in theaters, the film stars Thomas Ian Nicholas (Rookie of the Year, American Pie series) as Walt Disney and Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite, The Benchwarmers) as his brother Roy and portrays a period of the iconic dreamer’s life that not many know much about.
As a wedding videography company in NJ, we’ve been to a lot of weddings. Recently, we created one of our trademark cinematic wedding videos for a same-sex couple and, it got us thinking.
So, we decided to go over the long and arduous journey that legalizing same-sex marriage has been, and the ongoing issues still out there.
Now, at this point, the tables have officially turned. Go back a decade and the idea of even a dozen states allowing same-sex marriage seemed all but impossible. Things have changed drastically since then.
It’s no secret that most women begin planning their weddings when they’re still kids. They imagine their dress, the decor, their family laughing, and everything else down to the finest details. So, you can imagine that once they’re actually engaged and the whimsical fantasizing must become real-life wedding planning, it can get pretty dicey. After all, there is an entire other human being involved in this whole marriage thing.
The union of an off-beat bride and a more traditional groom, or vice versa, is very common these days. The differences in style and taste will inevitably make their way to the wedding planning process. The good news is, if you can manage to achieve a balanced blend of styles and personalities, your wedding day can keep everyone comfortable while also still speaking your voices, both of them.
So, you’re craving the summertime wedding experience from the movies; all the guests floating around in their finest garb, champagne glasses in hand, without so much as a bead of sweat trickling from their foreheads. Well, in all our years creating cinematic wedding films in high quality fashion, we at Live Picture Studios have seen a few weddings like that, but we’ve seen a lot more than a few!
The cold hard truth about summer weddings is that they’re hot! Yes, people are decked out in their best duds, which just makes the inevitable and profuse sweating that much more unbearable. The good news is, there are things you can do to help make your special day more like you imagined.
