As Christin’s longtime friend remembered, growing up, they weren’t the typical girls “wasting time talking about boys,” but she did recall one Thanksgiving break from college when, all of a sudden, every other word out of Christin’s mouth was about “this guy who lived in North Jersey.” That guy, Tom, obviously made quite an impression as the beautiful couple celebrated their marriage at the Liberty House in New Jersey surrounded by family and friends. From the splendid weather to the breathtaking NYC skyline to the perfect wedding sparkler send-off and touching speeches, the Live Picture Studios videographers, on hand creating this cinematic wedding video, had plenty to work with. It was a truly magical day and all of us here at LPS wish the newlyweds a lifetime full of days like it. Congratulations, Christin and Tom!

As veterans in wedding videography in the New York / New Jersey area, we’ve seen our share of wedding cakes. To take that one step further, we’ve seen our share of traditional white wedding cakes, and no one’s saying there’s anything wrong with them.
Considering the variety of ways you can put your own personal stamp on even the most classic wedding cake styles, it’s not like you can’t achieve any kind of originality when going the traditional route.
However, sometimes, some weddings are so unconventional and innovative that they need a cake to match, whether that means getting inventive with the look or the taste, or both.
So, let’s take a look at some of the more creative options out there when it comes to finding a one-of-a-kind wedding cake.
Li and James’ wedding day felt like it was pulled straight from the storybooks. The lovely couple made their union official outdoors at the picturesque Woman’s Club in New Jersey and, when you combine that fairytale setting with the vibrant interior and fluid camera work of the Live Picture Studios videographers, the result is this elegantly cinematic wedding video. The weather couldn’t have been better nor could the newlyweds’ families and friends have been happier for the occasion. The maid of honor recalled Li once saying that if she was able to love her husband well and serve her family, she would consider her life well-lived and honoring to God, and went on to tell the groom, “James, you are a lucky man to have someone who will love you out of a reflection of her love for God.” We couldn’t agree more. Congratulations, Li and James, from all of us here at LPS!

A winery has a certain charm, an inviting allure. As longtime NY / NJ videographers, we can attest to the fact that wine vineyards provide a naturally beautiful outdoor setting that not many other spaces can match.
That’s why so many couples decide to adopt the look and feel of a winery for their weddings, whether they actually get married at one or just use a vineyard theme for their wedding celebration.
However, like any other wedding theme, it can be a challenge to figure out how to bring the vineyard feeling to life and to enhance it. So, let’s go over some of the ways you can bring your vineyard wedding to the next level.
Ashley’s maid of honor recalled how Louis was so nervous before he proposed to his future bride that she thought he was sick, but, as she said, “Lou pulled through and we’re all so thankful he did because these two were meant to spend their lives together.” The lovely couple said their “I dos” this past September on the beach in Asbury Park, NJ, and the weather was perfect. They continued their celebration with family and friends at the gorgeous Berkeley Hotel and their whole day made for a truly cinematic wedding video, which the Live Picture Studios videographers were there to create. We here at LPS were especially touched by the heartfelt cards the couple wrote to one another, with Louis saying, “Today on our wedding day, let’s carve out our initials and leave our legacy.” What a beautiful sentiment. Congratulations Ashley and Louis from Live Picture Studios. We wish you nothing but the best!

This is the fourth glossary of wedding terms we’ve posted, which says something about the wedding planning process. It can be a challenge to say the least.
There are so many little details to consider, and there seems to be an endless list of terms to go along with each of those details. It’s easy to get lost in the lingo.
So, we’ve covered cakes, stationery terms, and, being the NY and NJ videographers that we are, wedding videography. Now, it’s time to tackle the reception. Some terms may look familiar, some may look like a foreign language, others actually are.
As Shain said to his soon-to-be bride, Xiomi, at the alter, “Two years ago, you captured my heart by being exactly who you are, the most loving and compassionate person that I have ever known.” It was obvious to the Live Picture Studios videographers, on hand creating this cinematic wedding video, that Shain has captured Xiomi’s heart as well. The lovely couple had a gorgeous outdoors ceremony and celebrated their big day with family and friends at the breathtaking Crystal Plaza in New Jersey. The sun was shining, but not as brightly as the newlyweds’ eyes were shining with excitement. The rabbi may have summed up the spirit of the day best when he said, “Happily ever after doesn’t begin with once upon a time; it begins now.” All of us here at LPS wish Xiomi and Shain a lifetime of happily ever after. Congratulations you two!

Whether you enlist help to plan your wedding or not, there’s always plenty of room for error. The thing is, there probably haven’t been too many errors in the dreams you’ve been having about the day for so long.
In reality, there’s simply so much to watch over, so many little tasks to stay on top of, that it can be nearly impossible to avoid slipping up here and there. The key is to try and minimize the mistakes and keep them minor.
As longtime NY and NJ videographers in the wedding industry, we understand the incomparable value of a toolkit. You need the right tool for the job, and sometimes, you may not know what that is until the issue emerges.
So, we put together this guide for designing a wedding planning toolkit. That way, you’ll have the right tool for whatever task comes up, and you’ll also reduce the potential stress that comes with being unprepared for unexpected issues.
As the groom put it, “I’ve been waiting my whole life for the moment that I could say with certainty that I married the love of my life, my soul mate,” and on this beautiful day, he got to do just that. Larysa and Alexander celebrated their marriage with family and friends at the magnificent Maritime Parc in New Jersey, complete with perfect weather, boats bobbing in the harbor, and the incredible NYC skyline. It all made for a truly cinematic wedding video, which the Live Picture Studios videographers were there to create. As Larysa wrote in her personal card to Alex, “Seven years ago you first stole my heart and since then I grow more in love with you every day.” All of us here at LPS hope the lovely newlyweds’ love for one another never stops growing. Congratulations, Larysa and Alexander!
