When it comes to wedding photography, there seems to be a relentless stream of new trends that you have to sift through and examine, constantly. That’s if you want to have all the best and most popular options on the table during your planning of course.
And no matter what kind of wedding you’re planning, there likely haven’t been too many reasons to get yourself up to speed on the latest photo trends until now, but as NY and NJ wedding photographers, it’s our business to keep pace.
Robert and Jacqueline knew each other back in high school and rekindled their old crush four years ago when they met at a bar. Now, they’re officially husband and wife! The amazing couple said their “I do’s” in an unforgettable outdoor ceremony at The Terrace in New Jersey and the gorgeous grounds and breathtaking ballroom made for the perfect backdrop for such a magical affair. The Live Picture Studios videographers were there capturing all the special moments for this wedding video, and from the couple’s first look, first dance, vows at the altar, and all the speeches from family and friends, there were plenty. All of us here at LPS would like to thank the newlyweds for letting us be a part of their big day and wish them nothing but the best. Congratulations, Jacqueline and Robert!

Linda and Nam’s wedding day was one no one in attendance will soon forget, including the Live Picture Studios wedding photographers, who were there to help capture all the moments that made the day so special.

Even the most bold and outgoing people can get a little uncomfortable with the endless taking of pictures on their wedding day, whether it’s the actual photographers snapping the photos or friends or family.
It can truly seem relentless at times, and if you and/or your partner are not so outgoing and are a little shy about appearing on camera, then uncomfortable can be a drastic understatement as it can get darn right overwhelming.
If you’ve managed to find the right wedding photographers for your big day and they captured all the special moments just how you’d expected, first off, give yourself a pat on the back. Getting to that point is never easy, but make no mistake, your work isn’t done just yet. Now comes the time to start thinking about how to go about displaying your wedding photos.
You’ll obviously want to put together an album and perhaps one or two for your and your partner’s respective parents. For more on that, check out these posts, Tips for Putting Together the Perfect Wedding Photo Album and How to Put Together the Perfect Wedding Photo Album for Your Parents.
Christopher and Melissa came into each other’s lives about three years ago and immediately knew that they had found something special in one another. Now, they’re married! The gorgeous couple said their “I do’s” in a beautiful church ceremony before heading to the Liberty House in New Jersey. The breathtaking ballroom and views of the city skyline made for a magical backdrop, both for this amazing day and for this wedding video, which the Live Picture Studios videographers were on hand to create. From the couple’s readings of the touching cards they wrote to one another, first dance, and vows at the altar to all the heartfelt speeches from family and friends, this was truly an unforgettable day. All of us here at LPS would like to thank these newlyweds for letting us be a part of it all and wish them nothing but the best. Congratulations, Melissa and Christopher!

When planning any wedding, there always seems to be a ton of moving parts. You try to prepare for every little thing as best you can, but there are simply some elements that must be somewhat left to chance, such as the elements themselves: the weather. Think about it, you’re going to start your planning pretty early, so how can you possibly know what to expect from the weather?
Obviously, if your entire celebration will be taking place indoors, it may not matter nearly as much to you as it would to couples planning outdoor affairs, but it can still put a damper on the day.
There are a lot of reasons to make drones a part of your wedding photography package, but like any other aspect of it, they’re not going to be free and make no mistake, there are a few minuses. So, how do you decide if you really need those amazing aerial shots?
Well, it helps to know the ins and outs of drones and what they bring to the table, so we decided to put our many years of experience in wedding photography in NY and NJ to work and created this little guide to drone wedding photography.
