When Rory first met Alexandra, he felt like he’d known her for a long time, and after seeing the way these two are with each other, it’s obvious that they truly are meant to be. The lovely couple celebrated their union at the picturesque Maplewood Country Club in New Jersey, surrounded by family and friends, and the venue’s gorgeous grounds as well as its elegant interior made for an absolutely splendid backdrop for the Live Picture Studios videographers, on hand creating this cinematic wedding video. It was an unforgettable day and all of us at LPS hope it’s just the beginning of a long and happy life together. Mazel tov, Alexandra and Rory!

It’s no surprise that the fall tends to be one of the most popular seasons for weddings. There’s the glorious natural foliage, the incredible seasonal colors, the pleasant temperature, and more.
However, like any wedding in any season, there are some trends that are really gaining steam at the moment and others that seem to be fading away.
Luckily, we’ve been in NY / NJ videography creating wedding videos for a long time now, so we make it our business to know what’s in and what’s out.
Laudine’s bridesmaids remembered when she first started talking about this IT guy who would stop by her desk at work and chat with her. Eventually, she gave him a chance and they started dating and now, the rest is history. Laudine and Gavin were married at the breathtaking Westhampton Bath and Tennis Club in New York, and between the venue’s gorgeous seaside glamour, the perfect weather, and all the special moments that made this day so memorable, the Live Picture Studios videographers had plenty to work with while creating this cinematic wedding video. As the best man said, “In Gavin and Laudine, I think I see all the makings of a very, very happy life together.” All of us here at LPS couldn’t agree more. Congratulations, Laudine and Gavin!

Planning a wedding is never simple. So much goes into every single aspect of the process, and it can get very stressful.
In fact, it can get so stressful, at times, that the bride and groom are often in somewhat of a state of shock when their big day finally arrives. Then, seemingly in an instant, it’s over.
But it doesn’t have to be this way. You put too much into planning your dream wedding for it to pass you by virtually unnoticed.
Christine and Brian have known each other for 15 years, but all along, Christine had a feeling that they would end up together, and she was right. The lovely couple said their ‘I Dos’ at the magnificent Stone House at Stirling Ridge in New Jersey, surrounded by family and friends. Between the perfect weather, the venue’s lush gardens, the candlelit backdrop at the ceremony, and the vibrant interior, it was truly a feast for the eyes, and the Live Picture Studios videographers, there creating this cinematic wedding video, didn’t miss a beat. At the altar, Christine said to her husband-to-be, “Sometimes, I feel like I have to pinch myself to make sure that I’m not dreaming,” and after witnessing the couple together, we can see why. These two are truly meant to be. Congratulations, Christine and Brian!

There’s always been a certain allure to outdoor weddings. At the right time of year, and when the weather cooperates, there’s simply nothing like one.
No matter if it’s on an exotic beach or in your backyard, the natural beauty just adds something special to any wedding.
However, when the weather doesn’t hold up its end of the bargain, or when one of the many other possible problems surfaces, an outdoor affair can quickly turn into an unforgettable wedding for all the wrong reasons.
Wendy had been dreaming of the man she was going to marry since she was a little girl and, as she wrote in her personal card to her husband-to-be, she wanted him to be kind, loyal, supportive, and handsome. It didn’t seem like too much to ask for, but it was, until she met Mark. The lovely couple celebrated their big day with family and friends at the breathtaking Wilshire in New Jersey and the weather couldn’t have been better. It all made for a truly stunning wedding video, which the Live Picture Studios videographers were there to create. All of us here at LPS wish the newlyweds a lifetime filled with lasting joy and happiness. Congratulations, Wendy and Mark!

No matter your ethnicity, religion, or personal background, every wedding has certain traditions that come with it.
In our time in NY / NJ videography, we’ve seen, firsthand, the wide variety of customs out there, whether in the earlier, pre-wedding rituals and celebrations, the ceremony itself, the reception, or in anything after.
Something that may surprise you, though, is where some of these traditions came from, how they originated, because in some cases, it’s probably not even close to what you may have thought.
Sometimes, two people provide the perfect complement to one another, and when the stars align and they find each other, it’s a sight to see. That was the case with Jenny and Oscar, and a long distance relationship that spanned the entire country couldn’t even keep them apart. They had a picturesque ceremony outdoors at the Tides Estate in New Jersey and between the perfect weather and the venue’s gorgeous grounds and vibrant interior, the Live Picture Studios videographers had plenty to work with for the couple’s cinematic wedding video. Jenny may have put it best when she wrote in her personal card to her husband-to-be just before their wedding: “Marriage isn’t the kind of journey that comes with a map, so we follow our hearts and make the best decision we can, the best way we know how, together.” We here at LPS think that approach will work out just fine for the lovely newlyweds. Congratulations, Jenny and Oscar!

We recently posted a blog about what being a maid of honor truly entails and how you can go above and beyond when a bride gives you that honor. Check it out: How to Master the Maid of Honor Position.
Today, though, we’re talking about the other side of the wedding party, and what it means to be named a groom’s best man.
Let’s face it, at least in our time making wedding videos in the NY / NJ videography industry, groomsmen often take the whole wedding process lightly and just use it as an excuse to have fun, but the best man is not just another groomsmen.
Just as the maid of honor traditionally has a list of specific responsibilities, so does the best man, and just as you can go above and beyond as a maid of honor, you can also take your best man duties to another level.
