As the groom put it, “I’ve been waiting my whole life for the moment that I could say with certainty that I married the love of my life, my soul mate,” and on this beautiful day, he got to do just that. Larysa and Alexander celebrated their marriage with family and friends at the magnificent Maritime Parc in New Jersey, complete with perfect weather, boats bobbing in the harbor, and the incredible NYC skyline. It all made for a truly cinematic wedding video, which the Live Picture Studios videographers were there to create. As Larysa wrote in her personal card to Alex, “Seven years ago you first stole my heart and since then I grow more in love with you every day.” All of us here at LPS hope the lovely newlyweds’ love for one another never stops growing. Congratulations, Larysa and Alexander!

Today’s post, however, is all about invitations. You may be thinking, how much could there be to know about invitations, but trust us, you’d be surprised.
It came as no surprise to Kate’s friends when, after pushing the “Type-A doer” to join anonline dating site, she found her true love on her very first date! Kate and John were married at the charming Red Maple Vineyard in New York and the incredible Hudson Valley scenery provided a stunning backdrop for the Live Picture Studios videographers, on hand creating this cinematic wedding video. From the natural autumnal beauty to the genuine excitement of family and friends, it was truly a day to remember. All of us here at LPS were especially blown away by the couple’s heartfelt personal cards to one another, including Kate’s touching Thank You note to her future husband in which she said, “Thank you for finding me in this big, crazy world, and thank you for choosing me.” We at Live Picture Studios think they’ve both made the right choice. Congratulations, Kate and John!

So, you’ve done your homework. You’ve taken the time and done what’s necessary to narrow your choices of wedding videographers in NJ or NY down to a select few.
What’s next? Now, you’ve got to schedule face-to-face meetings with the ones that have made it this far. Then, it’s all about the questions you ask.
You don’t want to leave these meetings or hire anyone until you know you’ve gotten every significant question answered. So, let’s go over what those significant questions are, the ones you absolutely must ask.
All of the Live Picture Studios videographers who were on hand for Dena and Eric’s wedding thought the lovely couple were simply a pleasure to work with, and their big day couldn’t have been more memorable. They celebrated with family and friends at the classically beautiful Maritime Parc in New Jersey and, between the venue, the gorgeous New York City skyline, and the genuine excitement for the newlyweds permeating the air, it was a truly unforgettable wedding. Eric’s mother may have summed up the spirit of the day best when she said of love, “It really is worth fighting for, being brave for, risking everything for, and now you both have a chance to prove it so.” All of us here at LPS think they’ll do just that. Mazel tov, Dena and Eric!

Everyone loves to get away and see the kind of scenery usually reserved for magazine pictures, which is a big part of the reason that destination weddings are so appealing.
Trust us, in our time doing wedding videography in NJ and NY, we’ve seen, firsthand, what this kind of beauty can bring to a wedding. However, if you knew what goes into planning a destination wedding, you might think differently about jumping right into it.
That doesn’t mean you should avoid the option altogether though. The truth is, if you manage to steer clear of all the potential pitfalls, you could end up with an unforgettable, one-of-a-kind style wedding.
So, we put together a couple tips to help you navigate the potentially treacherous waters that planning a destination wedding can be. Good luck!
Hillary and Matthew chose a setting by the sea for their wedding celebration, saying their “I dos” at the charming Madison Beach Hotel in Connecticut. The Live Picture Studios videographers were there creating this cinematic wedding video, and the lovely couple’s family and friends couldn’t have had better things to say about them, such as when a groomsman said of Matt, “He’s an extremely smart guy, and the proof, is sitting to his right.” The couple’s personal vows, though, may have stolen the show, with Hillary telling her future husband, “I will cherish our friendship and love you today, tomorrow, and forever,” while Matthew told his bride-to-be, “Sharing my life with you is a dream come true.” We at Live Picture Studios wish the newlyweds a lifetime filled with dreams coming true. Congrats, Hillary and Matthew!

We’re entering those warmer months, and this tends to be a time that many couples decide to say their “I dos.”
People tend to be in better moods considering that they’re not stuck in the house all day and, obviously, you get the natural beauty of the outdoors.
However, like any wedding, during any season, some choices are trending at the moment and others could make your big day feel dated and unoriginal.
Those are not the two takeaways you want people to leave your wedding with. So, check out what’s in right now for summer weddings, and what’s out or on its way.
When Anthony saw a post on the internet about a church reunion, he knew he had to find the one that got away, Gina, and he did just that. The amazing couple were married at the St. Matthias Church in New Jersey and had their reception at the Forsgate Country Club, which made for a vibrant yet serene setting for this cinematic wedding video, which the Live Picture Studios videographers were on hand to create. Family and friends gushed over the newlyweds and how perfect they are for one another, and everyone had a blast on the dance floor. It was a truly unforgettable celebration and, as the priest said at the ceremony, “Someday, when work’s a little too tough for each of you, or things get rough, let your minds drift back to this day.” We at Live Picture Studios hope this wedding video helps the lovely couple to do just that. Congratulations, Gina and Anthony!

We recently posted a glossary of terms that your baker may throw around when you’re coming up with ideas for your wedding cake, and we hope it helps.

To be honest, when you start meeting with various NY and NJ videographers, it can all sound like a completely different language, and you don’t want to end up agreeing to something you don’t want, or missing out on something you do.
So, check out this glossary of wedding videography terms so that you end up with a cinematic, high-quality wedding video that truly captures the spirit of your big day.
